Miss Reneé Healing Rebrand
Miss Reneé is one of those people who has genuinely become part of the fabric of the Portland, Oregon community. She’s been serving people here for more than 20 years, building real relationships, and deeply helping people through her work. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, deeply committed to what she does, and has spent decades pouring that experience back into the people around her. Miss Reneé had a vision for her business, but the technology side of actually bringing all of it together was becoming a huge roadblock. She knew what she wanted to offer and where she wanted the business to go, but needed help turning all of those ideas into something functional, organized, and actually easy to use.
Some of the biggest things I helped her with were:
Building her a website that actually worked for her business instead of creating more technology headaches.
Helping take her ideas and turn them into a more organized online system instead of having everything scattered across different platforms.
Setting up workflows and recommending tools that made running the business easier behind the scenes.
Helping her think through her offers, packages, and how she could better present and sell everything she knows.
Creating something she could actually use and manage even though technology is definitely not her favorite thing.
This project ended up being way more than just “make me a website.” It was really about taking what Miss Renee had in her head and turning it into an actual business system that made sense.

What I accomplished for her investment in The Booked and Busy package:
Built out a complete Squarespace website that gave her business a much more organized, professional, and actually usable online presence.
Removed the wall of text and turned it into a very visual and engaging page, so clients could move through the website more easily and know exactly what their next step should be.
Helped simplify the technology behind the business so she wasn’t trying to piece everything together across multiple confusing systems, such as getting clients’ birth info in an intake form before they book, instead of having to contact her later.
Created a cohesive design that felt like her personality and brand while still making the business look polished and credible.
Built the website with future growth in mind so she could continue adding services, offers, and content without needing to start over again later.
❝ I am not technologically savvy. It took me 6 years from 2007 to 2013 to bend to the fact that I needed a website and then 13 years to acknowledge the fact that it was time to update it as so much had changed. When Shannon stepped up to the challenge, I had no doubt that it would be functional and well done. But that's not what I ended up getting.

Shannon asked me a few very specific questions. It was easy, it was a smooth process. I always knew what to expect and where in the process she would be and when. When we had our appt to see what she had created, I could barely believe how she NAILED several things at one time: my vibe, my values, what my Standard Operation Systems needed to be to make scheduling a session as smooth as humanly possible for both my client AND myself. So much extra labor and headache remove just like that (poof! 💨) And, forethought into how my business is going to be growing in the future and how my website will be able to support that growth.
So, no - I didn't get the website I thought I wanted. I got the website I needed in ways I didn't even know I needed it.
